Extended Life Heavy Duty Antifreeze/Coolant (ELC)

When used as directed, Prestone® Extended Life Heavy Duty Antifreeze/Coolant (ELC): > May be added to the antifreeze/coolant of any heavy duty application for any truck, farm, off-road and/or marine engines > Provides a silicate, phosphate and borate-free formulation for long lasting inhibition and corrosion protection > Protects aluminum and all other engine metals * Provides extended life protection when added to any ELC heavy duty antifreeze/coolant when flushed and filled according to directions in vehicle manufacturer's owner's manual. Is compatible with other ELC and conventional heavy duty coolants (users must continue to add Extender or supplemental coolant additive SCAAA based on treat rates recommended by the engine manufacturer. Dilution with conventional coolants will reduce extended life benefits). One time use of the ELC Extender at 300,000 miles or 6,000 hours is required. - Always consult owner's manual to determine the specific maintenance, change over intervals, and Extender/SCA treat rate for your vehicle. |
